"Though working predominantly in different fields, our work seems to share several characteristics. We have worked together on a number of collaborative projects, most recently at Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop developing furniture for use throughout their new building. For A.L.T. we wanted to make a piece that was playful, sculptural and above all useful - something we would enjoy using in our own home." - Catherine Aitken & David Murphy
